Abstract [eng] Oncological illness is one of the major health related problems within our society not only in our own country but this is a world wide isssue. Hair lose is one of the most commonly know and arguably one of the most devastating side affects of chemotherapy treatment. Based on foreign research it has been noted that slowing or sometimes eradicating hair loss during chemotherapy has increased patient‘s self confidence and overall sense of wellbeing, therefore easing off the battle with cancer and overall healthcare process associated with it. Scalp skin freezing procedure has potential to slow down hair loss when taking chemotherapy. Aim of the report – analyse opinions of participant women who has ben affted by an oncological illness on hair loss prevention during chemotherapy Methods used for the report – SPSS 23.0.0 for Windwows was used as part of database anaylis.Statistical analysis was used to outline various attributes, espressed as a number and also as overall percentage, also including statistical calculations such as standard deviation and median. Attribute commonality was calculated using X^2 criterion, if commonalities where below 5, then fishen exact test was used instead. To compare two sets of group results a Manno Whitney test was sed , and if more than two groupes was comapred and analsed, then Kruskal Wallis test was used instead. To compare internal attributes relationships, Spearman corelation methods where use. Statistical hypothisis relation was as follows: results coming below p<0,05 are seen as not important and results above 0,05 are seen as important.Chronbach Alfa coficient was used when calculating intrnal question relationship. Report results – analysing the overall understanding levels within the group on the illness, it was highlighted that participant women had high levels of illness severity and associated consequences, which in turn has increased negative emotional state. Some of the understanding was also subjected to levels of education that participant women had. It was noted that increased concerned was associated with participant women who had higher levels of education. It was also noted that the importance of the hair loss was mostly associated with participant women who had light to modern forms of illness, and women on stage one was most likely to comment of information accessibility.
