The article considers the spherological approach to the theory of globalization and the spatial ontology of human existence as it is presented by German philosopher Peter Sloterdijk in three large-scale treatises: Bubbles, Balls, and Foam. The first analyzes the internal bodily-spiritual spaces called microspheres, paying attention to the communication of bodily forms. The second discusses macrospheres, revealing the stages of globalization. Spherical pluralism is studied in the third, showing the homelessness of man in the age of globalization, and his/her life in “isolation”. Sloterdijk treats spherology as a general theory of immune systems, with the help of which he analyzes the phenomena of the inner and outer world, discusses human life in existential isolation. |
