This master thesis examines bulk cargoes, their classification and characteristics. Also analyzes bulk cargo terminals and handling equipments. An overview of grain flows in the ports of the Eastern Baltic sea. Analyzes the peat, sracp metal and grain flow and handling equipment of JSC ,,Kaminera cargo handling“. The master‘s thesis calculates: peat, scrap metal and grain flow at JSC ,,Kaminera cargo handling“ in 2022 – 2026 years; berth permeability, estimate the area of the terminal to storage opmistic amout of cargo in 2026. Determined emisions from ships and terminal equipment. Also performed SWOT analysis of the terminal. |
