Development and maintenance of an information system based on business rules is a resource-consuming process since it cannot be performed without the help of information system professionals. Also, when business context changes, business rules and their implementation in program system has to be changed as a result. A versatile tool allowing automated development and maintenance of information system when business rules change and supporting assurance of business rules implementation traceability is not created yet. This paper analyzes transformation of business rules, their implementation in the source code and business rules traceability in this process. A method for automated and traceable implementation of business rules, expressed in Semantic of Business Vocabulary and Rules (SBVR), is proposed and illustration of it is presented. The method is validated for a selected set of business rules. |
