In this work, by studying water resistance of various scientist methods where catamarans are with various hull forms and demi-hull positions literature review conclusions are made. Analyzed basic water resistance calculation methods and additional software tool was created to calculate specified method where results are given faster, easier and comprehensive. 3D ship model of ship body plan was created by using DelftShip software and 3D model’s resistance was calculated both with created software tool and Flow3D. The conclusions of specified method and CFD results comparison are made and recommendation is given. |
