Currently, modern technologies are increasingly being implemented and used in the world, which allow to increase work productivity, accuracy and save time. There are cases when attempts are made to hack and make illegal use of certain data, which makes it necessary to think about modern technologies that are convenient and create a higher level of security. Biometric technologies are superior to other technologies such as: codes, passwords or RFID technologies, because passwords entered by hand can be easily forgotten, and portable media can be lost. Increasingly used biometric technologies help ensure greater security and reduce human factor errors, as human biometric data are unique and difficult to forge. This article examines biometric technologies, the possibilities of their use in the field of logistics, as well as the SWOT analysis, which allowed us to identify that they have a wide range of uses, are easy to use and ensure greater security. |
