Abstract [eng] In this paper is research of polymer packaging waste processing or recycling opportunities. European Union from 2005 to 2009 years amount of total polymer packaging waste increased 1,03 times, recycling increased 1,35 times, that indicate the recycling amount increases. Recycling process of polymer packaging waste is an important raw material quality. A lot of the packaging for recycling is contaminated by chemicals. One of these polymer packaging materials is containers’ bags which are lined the inside of the container and by it is transported bulk products or chemicals. Chemical residues may complicate the recycling of the technological process. One of the chemicals is transported in containers – terephthalic acid. Following the European Union regulations concerning the packaging of polymeric materials, and research analysis found that unreacted or incompletely reacted monomers, additives, intermediate and auxiliary materials, catalysts should remain in the finished product and solvents must be removed during the manufacturing process. The residues of previous uses, contaminants can be in recycling time, but require prior authorization. Secondary raw materials (polymer waste) can be processed by mechanical and chemical methods. The main parameters of mechanical processing are the chemical properties, pure fractions, oxygen, pressure, temperature, processing equipment (form and size), presence of impurities - residue of other polymers, chemicals. The main parameters of chemical processing are similar to mechanical processes, but it focuses on the type of recyclable materials, purity. The experimental studies have shown that the highest degree of cleaning by the value of suspended solids (76,3652 mg/ l) and wastewater requirements (temperature, pH) is when using a glass fiber filter and 10 g of terephthalic acid +100 ml of 2% ammonium hydroxide solution (filtration with with a pressure difference in ambient temperature of laboratory).
