The article analyses phytonyms in Salantai Sub-dialect to establish how different they are comparing with nowadays language. This is the first work, where analysed phytonyms in Salantai Sub-dialect. The object of this work is just these names, wich is considered as dialecticisms. Analysing all pfytonyms they are classified into types of dialecticisms, dealing with these types characteristics. Considering to formal word structure and declensional type is important too. In aspect of the origin phytonyms of Salantai Sub-dialect are divided into lithuanian names and loanwords. To talk about pfytonyms motyvation and classifing to semantic groups is important what charactesistics chosen in naming of one or another herb. In motyvation also is important composition of words. Motyvation of Salantai subdialect phytonyms are compared with phytonyms of nothern Panevėžys subdialect to disclosure the differences and commonality between these subdialects. Phytonyms are also comparing with all of Lithuania dialects to know which names of herbs are using just in Salantai and which are known for more dialects. |
