Abstract [eng] The study object of this thesis involves theoretical justification and empirical verification of feature development in the early age child‘s drawing. The hypothesis: scrawls made by 1,3–2,6 years old girl of Lithuanian nationality have the same type features as determined by R. Kellog. First part presents an overview of factors that determine firstly feature development in the early age child‘s drawing and secondly the stages of drawing development itself. It is based on Gardner, 1980; Golomb, 1990; Kellogg, 1969; Lowenfeld ir Brittain, 1987; Widlocher, D. 2010; Šmitas 1997; Vygotskis 1978; Matthews 1999; Cox 1992; Игнаыев, С. Е. 2007; Копитина, А. И. 2006; Vygotskis 1967; Brazauskaitė 2004; Be‘dard, 2009, child‘s drawing study results and theoretical conclusions. The study was carried out in one year and three months. 850 drawings painted by one child were analyzed. In order to achieve the result the following methods were used during the study process: analysis of scientific and psychological literature, observation method by fixating the duration of study process, content analysis for determination of scrawls and emotional features, comparative method for identification of scrawl alternations and factors contributing to them. The following tasks were set in order to achieve the goal of this study: - by using literature analysis reveal factors that contribute to alternations in the development of child‘s drawings, appropriate and safe conditions that would inspire child scrawls and thus would make possible to collect study data were created by using the data provided by literature sources. - observation method helped to fixate child‘s emotions during the process of the creation of drawings. - gathered data was analyzed by using content analysis method, features of scrawl alternations were identified, visuals that are found within scrawls are defined. - by using comparative analysis scrawl alternations and factors contributing to them were identified. The hypothesis was confirmed - drawings created by 1,3–2,6 years old girl of Lithuanian nationality were dominated by scrawl types determined by R. Kellog.
