In the final thesis of masters’s degree I analyze the quality joints that were welded aluminothermically and flash butt. This research is based on the analysis of changes in the main metal that are caused by aluminothermic and flash butt welding. In order to determine the mechanical properties of welded joints, the following tests had been made: visual-fractographic review of welded joint, fusion area researches, the measurement test hardness of heat-softened area, the measurement test deformation broken rail on the driveway, microstructure research of the welded joints, impact strength experiments, chemical analysis of welded joints. The conclusion is based on the results of this research. The structure of thesis consists of seven parts: introduction, the object of the research, the overview of literature, the methodology of the research, results of the research, conclusions and references. This thesis consists of 73 pages of text without appendixes, 56 pictures, 13 tables and 23 bibliographical sources. |
