Diabetes is a growing problem all over the word. Every day there are diagnosed new cases of children affected by type 1 diabetes. In order to control the harmful consequences of this chronic non-infectious disease, there is a need for an objective, integrated and process-oriented approach to the current practice of education and control of this disease and the educational needs of children suffering from it and the ability to control it. The aim of the present study is to analyze the practice of the management of education for children with type 1 diabetes. The study consists of two parts. The first part provides analysis of the concept of diabetes, its development and spread in a historical context and control practices in different countries. The second part of the study provides a description of the results of research into the practice of management of education for children with type1diabetes. |
