| Abstract [eng] |
In this master thesis various constructions of axial flux generators and their usage are discussed. These generators, especially coreless constructions, are easy to make at home, they have high efficiency and power factor. They are easy to use in wind turbine applications. As motors, because of their flat shape, they are easy to use in electric cars, for in-wheel applications. Various materials, which are available to use in construction, are discussed, they are compared, optimal version of machine was tried to find, where maximum available value of magnetic flux density, minimum torque and minimum attraction force would be available. Coreless and ferromagnetic constructions are compared, their positive and negative sides are discussed. In the modelation part, magnetic circuits were simulated, using finite element method, while changing materials of stator and rotors, permanent magnets and their array. Comparative study is made between analysed constructions, trying to find the optimal and the most suitable for operation. In this work, magnetic circuit of axial flux permanent magnet generator was simulated, axial flux density module and normal axial flux density graphs were compiled, also views of magnetic circuit, with flux density in various places of magnetic circuit and the cross section of magnetic circuit. |
