A list of those entering Klaipeda (Memel) merchants guild in 1642-1822 is an eloquent source. Statistical analysis of this source has shown that variation in a number of entrants is directly related to possibilities of Klaipeda (Memel) enterprise. Statistical analysis helped to determine flows of persons from various regions and towns entering Klaipeda (Memel) merchant guild. This allows relating this information to a wide context of history of macro and micro economics of Klaipeda (Memel), Prussia and Baltic regions. |
