The article is developing the musical activities of the famous Lithuanian choir lieder, pedagogue, an organist and the church music composer G. Purlys. The aim of article is to point the main features of his religious music's style on the basis of his masses. The work analyses the G. Purlys's "Mass of St. Casimir, the Patron of Lithuania" and estimates it. |
