The article take in consideration the main features of Alexander Men 's biography, to reveal the factors and people that had influence on his, as personality 's, maturity, intellection. The article also makes a quick view on the circumstances of the murder of A. Men 's father and the reasons which are connected to ecumenical ideas. Quickly are reveleated the rela tion between Russian Orthodoxies and Catholic Churches. When talking about relations between these Churches, it is meaningful and purposeful to survey the general history of ecumenism and ecumenical dialogue 's troubles which remain in these days as well. Moreover, We review ecume nical ideas, cherished in Catholic Church, which were strongly influenced by II Vatican 's Assembly, post-assembly documents and ecumenical policy that was performed later on. The article discusses not only the theoretical conception of ecumenism in Alexander Men 's creation, but also the prac tical aspect of ecumenism in his own life. It is being tried to disclose the ecclesiological aspect of ecumenism and the topicality of these ideas in today's Christianity's chosen unity path. Also the collaboration with the representatives of other confessions « reviewed, ск well as Russian Ort hodoxies ' attitude lowants his creation and activity. |
