The thesis investigates the problematic aspects of business ethics and behaviour motifs in a competitive market. The goal of the thesis was to define the peculiarities of organization’s behaviour towards its competitors: the concept of behaviour ethics of the organization and related motifs which determine the ethics of the organization behaviour and its behaviour in the competitive market and in case of a conflict with business partners. The thesis consists of introduction, four chapters, generalization, conclusions and proposals, literature references and annexes. The thesis analyses how the ethics-related decisions are undertake in an organization, what interior and exterior factors can have an impact on them. The social and moral responsibilities of the organization and its goal to retain its reputation are analysed towards the aspect of business ethics. The analytical part of the thesis, based on the business ethics research model made by the thesis author on the basis of research literature, investigates the interior and exterior factors having an impact towards the organization, influencing the behaviour ethics of UAB Tele2 in the competitive market; it also analyses a case of unethical behaviour towards the competitors, which was disseminated by mass media and which was proven at the court of law, and related civil cases. The juxtaposition of the behaviour based on the interior documents of the organization establishing the ethical provisions, and the declared organization’s behaviour with the attempts of UAB “Tele2” to manage the conflict with its business partners is also presented here. |
