Abstract [eng] The aim of this dissertation is to determine the influence of different cultures on the socio-cultural context of Vilnius. Imported pottery is interpreted as the representation of a particular cultural or social group. This active component was identified by various technological properties, stylistic and decorative details of vessels. Vessels were divided based on characteristics of the clay body and surface processing. Comparative and chemical composition methods were used to identify production sites. For the complete execution of this model, the prepared catalogue will serve as a tool for updating the chronology of archaeological layers in the future and will enable it to be used as one of the possible models for identifying and cataloguing artefacts. 13th-17th century cultural and technological changes which were influenced by appearance and distribution of imported vessels, were identified.
