Abstract [eng] The master's thesis analyzes the relationship between bioethics and the information society. The main problem of work - What is the significance of bioethics for the information society, especially in the face of technological threats? Defending Thesis - It is assumed that bioethics limits the threat posed by new technologies to the information society. The first chapter analyzes the concept of information society, the wave of formation in the European Union and the main documents of planning information society development in the Republic of Lithuania. The second chapter examines the formation of digital ethics in the information society, concepts of the concept of the information technology and the challenges in the information society and the relationship between ethics and the information society, and the main theories of bioethics. The third chapter reveals the challenge of artificial intelligence as a bioethical problem, the issues of \"ecological\" information society and information wars. After analyzing the theoretical aspects of the master's thesis, it is concluded that the significance of bioethics for the information society is of paramount importance as advanced technologies bring merely benefits but threaten the information society. Bioethics aim is crucial for human well-being, which is why, on the basis of bioethics, the aim is to reduce the threat posed by technology.
