Due to the specific infrastructure of the intensive care department particular conflicts, specific to intensive care, are implied. Exceptionally dynamic work predetermines internal tension, which is significantly influenced by the fact that moral dilemmas are continuously faced. There is a lack of research on the occurrence of ethical conflicts among intensive care nurses and the understanding and application of principles of nursing ethics in the modern practice of medicine in Lithuania. |
