Abstract [eng] The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between symptoms of depression, symptoms of anxiety, maximal physical capacity and mobility limitations in patients with coronary artery disease. 141 patients with coronary artery disease were evaluated during cardiac rehabilitation. The subjects filled in the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale to assess symptoms of anxiety and depression, Short Musculoskeletal Function Assessment Questionnaire – for mobility limitations. According to our results we did not found relationship between psycho-emotional disturbances and physical capacity. Our results indicate that in patients with coronary artery disease symptoms of depression and symptoms of anxiety are related with limitation of mobility components: daily activity, emotional status, arm and hand functions, mobility category and mobility function, as well as bothersome index, which are related with quality of life. On the other hand, objective physical capacity is not related with symptoms of anxiety or symptoms of depression.
