Abstract [eng] |
Aim of thesis – to reveal the universality of human dignity and vocation to holiness in social – legal context. In this thesis the vocation to holiness is analyzed as the unity of divine and human history (salvation history) starting at the Creation and which is intended to all people without exception; the connection between human dignity and vocation to holiness is revealed. In the first part the human person is presented as imago Dei - most perfect creature of God - from the point of view of Christian anthropology. In the second part human dignity and original human rights which rise from human dignity are analyzed and actualized in the context of juridical and Church‘s social teaching. In the third part Biblical covenants between God and people as a form of human vocation to holiness are analyzed, the christocentricity and universality of the vocation to holiness are revealed and the directions to sanctification in the context of the New Covenant are discussed. |
