Abstract [eng] Nowadays, multicultural groups are typical for preschool education institutions. Such groups accept children of different races, religions, nationalities, genders, ages, social backgrounds, and different by many other aspects. Political, social, cultural changes, migration processes, parents' expectations, and children's educational needs require more flexible organization of education and implementation of various educational models (Baronienė, 2014). Preschool teachers working in a multicultural group of preschool children encounter many difficulties, and it is more difficult to meet all the requirements for a teacher. In this case, good cooperation between teachers and education assistance specialists becomes very important, and gives basis to complete and continuous development of all children in the multicultural group of preschool children. As it is described by D. Martišauskienė, K. Trakšelys (2017), cooperation of teachers and assistance specialists has an influence on children. For this reason, possibilities regarding cooperation between teachers and education assistance specialists in the preschool education institution are important.
