Christianity professes that there is one God but three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. How and where do these persons proceed from? The article discusses two immanent (internal) proceedings within God, i.e. the Son’s proceeding from the Father through birth and the proceeding of the Holy Spirit through the single breath of the Father and the Son. |
