| Abstract [eng] |
This article analyses residents’ income and purchasing power in municipalities with low urbanization level. Residents’ income is one of the most important determinants of living standards. Lithuania has 36 municipalities, where people living in rural area s account for more than half the local population. In many of these municipalities the agriculture takes very important place as economic activity. The paper analyses the differences of wage, old age pensions and social allowances between municipalities of low level of urbanization. Also there is a different set of consumer prices and purchasing power differences among municipalities. |
