Rapid change of Lithuanian society, the pro- cesses of European integration, economic changes, progress of science and technology going over from industrial society to society of knowledge force to re- new the whole system of Lithuanian education and science. Rapid development and application of new technology, economic globalization demand for more and more society members to have better and more qualitative education are recognized are not only in Lithuania but in Europe too. Putting economic literacy and teaching entrep- reneurship into practice, their stages and tasks are clo- sely connected with the on going reform in education and science, its aims and tasks, and the real situation. Every schoolchild fi?shing school needs to develop entrepreneurship and have the principles of market economy knowledge, know what personal characte- ristics are needed and how to develop them succes- sfully. That is why the necessity for schoolchildren’s entrepreneurship education is analyzed in the article. The hypothesis that schoolchildren’s entrepreneurs- hip education is an indispensable condition to satis- fy the requirements of the market economy is raised and research in Gargždai “Krantas” Secondary Scho- ol was carried out. |
