The paper analyses the articles on Catholic music published in the SOTER journal in the period of 1999 – the 1st half of 2009. A diversity of issues of religious music covered by the articles is discussed and evaluated: ethnomusicological, as well as the hymnal and hymn singing, traditions, composing, the relationship of the composers’ worldview and their work, musical activities of Lithuanians in exile, Catholic music in the region of Klaipėda, etc. |
