The article reveals the basic parish history facts of Nevarėnai according to scientific literature and archival material. It introduces the history of Nevarėnai, analyses the history of The Crucifixion Church and its architectural features (interior and exterior changes etc.) and reviews pastoral and cultural activities. There you touch all the basic changes that have been happening since the beginning of the 19th century to nowadays, it is introduced to cultural value of Nevarėnai church, the parochial school activity and historical-architectural value of the church. The names of the priests who had worked in the church of Nevarėnai are mentioned as well. |
