Abstract [eng] A survey of respondents found that more than half (54%) of respondents were interested in a healthy lifestyle. Women (65%) are significantly more interested in a healthy lifestyle than men (40%), and individuals under the age of 50 (72%). It was also found that more than half (58%) of the participants in the study rated their eating habits as very good or good. There were very few people who rated it as bad or very bad (9%). People with higher education (26%) evaluate their diet significantly more often than those with lower education (9%). The obtained results showed that less than half, 43%, of individuals try to follow the principles of healthy eating, and another 32% do this at least sometimes. Also, the majority of respondents, 42%, eat when they feel hungry, and 22% of the respondents eat 5 times a day. When asked whether their diet is suitable and whether they receive enough nutrients, more than half (51%) think their diet is suitable. Analysing the results of the study, it turned out that 22 percent of respondents complained of energy loss and only 7% noticed an increase in energy, whereas adherence to the hospital's diet improved the well-being of a mere 45% part of the respondents. Only 37 % of the respondents plan to change their eating habits after treatment, and the remaining 63% of the respondents are not going to change their eating habits after treatment.
