Abstract [eng] The study participants are working – age women (30-60 years) who experience stress – induced symptoms. The aim of the study: To investigate the possibilities of using the holistic Kuouksundo method for working –age women coping with stress. Research tasks: 1. To assess the stress levels experienced by working – age women. 2. To investigate the influence of Kouksundo on health of working –age women facing stress. 3. To provide recommendations for stress relief and prevention in working age women. Research methodology: Quantitative and qualitative research was performed. A quantitative study included 42 women in the experimental group and 38 women in the control group. A questionnaire consisting of the following questionnaires was used to collect the study data: Quality of Life Questionnaire (SF-36), Stress Coping Questionnaire, HAD Depression and Anxiety Disorder Scale, Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Health Scale, and Workplace Stress Assessment Questionnaire. Statistical analysis of the quantitative study was performed using IBM SPSS Statistics 21 program, MS Excel program was used to visualize the results. 5 women participated in the qualitative study. The study was conducted using the semi-structured interview method. Qualitative research data was analyzed and presented using a descriptive content analysis method. Results of the study: Evaluation and comparison of the obtained data before and after Kouksundo showed that Kouksando practices have a significant impact on women's physical, mental and emotional health (p <0.05), as a result of which their internal resistance to environmental stressors increased. In a qualitative study, women identified specific positive changes in their health and life which were directly related to Kouksundo practice. Conclusions and Recommendations: Kouksundo practice has a positive effect on all levels of the human body - physical, emotional and mental. A holistic approach of practice has a positive impact on women’s health, and can be recommended as an effective tool for women to prevent and cope with stress.
