In this thesis an overview of oil terminal activities, infrastructure and technologies is presented, the sources of an ambient air pollution and VOC emission management technologies are specified. Emission assessment methodologies are being described. It also contains the transit dark petroleum products traffic at JSC „ Klaipėdos Nafta” statistics during the period of 2014 – 2018 years. The existing and the forecast emissions are being estimated and VOC emission reduction options and methods are analysed. The main task of the thesis is to research the potential of oil terminal handling technologies to reduce VOC emissions and to provide emission reduction technological solutions based on the research analysis. |
