The importance of nurses' competencies is also determined by the constant progress in the field of medicine, the need to be able to apply new treatment methods, technologies, and also because of processes of quality improvement in health care organizations. These processes determine the need for continuous development of nurses' competencies and gaining new competencies. However, when setting requirements for competencies for nurses, it is also important to ensure a favorable work environment, especially as far as social interactions are concerned, in which these competencies are revealed in the best way. |
