Abstract [eng] The master's thesis consists of an introduction, three main sections/subsections, as well as conclusions, sources, bibliography and appendices. The introduction presents the relevance of the research, raises a problem, identifies the object, goal and tasks, discusses applied methods and briefly presents the historiography. The first section presents social and educational status, peasant standard of living and woman's place in society in the 18th century. The second section of the research is devoted to the activities of the Educational Commission, the reasons for its establishment, home education and its goals. The third section presents the features of the child's upbringing, the principles of traditional values and describes the importance of the mutual relationship between parents and children. Final section provides conclusions that exactly describe what was successfully analyzed during the work. How the role of women changed in social life, family and the upbringing of the child. Why education break happened and whose consequences are felt to this day.
