Relevance of the topic. The modern world is already loudly acknowledging the fact that artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming business and economic processes. Artificial intelligence controlled machines have already replaced a large part of industry and business. The role of technology in society is changing very fast, and new technologies are no longer just a tool for improving people's daily lives. This has become an unavoidable and necessary. The changes that are taking place will inevitably change not only the nature of the work, but also the very concept of the workplace. Artificial intelligence technologies can provide enormous opportunities for humanity to flourish. Or the possibility of destruction. Proper and ethical management of research and innovation drivers is difficult as circumstances remain uncertain. Such rapid technological development and the evolving evolution of technology raises a number of ethical questions, and it is therefore essential to ensure that artificial intelligence technologies are fair and ethical. The aim of the work is to analyze the concept of artificial intelligence, legal regulation in the European Union and Lithuania, the essential ethical principles, challenges and development perspectives of artificial intelligence. The work consists of an introduction, which presents the relevance of the topic, problem, goal, tasks, research methods and work structure. The teaching part consists of three sections. The first chapter introduces the concept of artificial intelligence, discusses the concept of artificial intelligence, technological development and the applicability and practical benefits of artificial intelligence in society. The second chapter presents the legal regulation of artificial intelligence technologies in the European Union and Lithuania, analyzes the European Union artificial intelligence strategy, as well as the problem of legal and ethical regulation of the Lithuanian artificial intelligence strategy. The third chapter presents the ethical problems, challenges and development perspectives of artificial intelligence in society. Also conclusions and references. |
