The aim of this study is to analyse the outcomes of the declaration of the Decree on Toleration (17 April 1905) on the Orthodox and Catholic churches in Lithuania. What was the social position of the churches as communities and the churches as institutions, how did it change, and what were the differences and similarities in the dioceses/provinces. |
