The efficiency of health care services in Lithuanian regional hospitals is analyzed and evaluated in the master‘s thesis. The first part of the work analyzes theoretical aspects of the organization of health care services, reviews the main directions of the reform of health care institutions, analyzes the health care resources and the main performance results, examines the problems of the health care sector, efficiency assessment options. In the second part, efficiency evaluation models are selected and adapted for the evaluation of the efficiency of health care services in Lithuanian regional hospitals. In the third part, a complex evaluation of the efficiency of health care services in Lithuanian regional hospitals is performed by applying the Pabon Lasso model and performing an analysis of relative financial indicators. At the end of the master‘s thesis, based on the results of the complex evaluation of the efficiency of health care services, conclusions and suggestions for the improvement of the efficiency of Lithuanian regional hospitals are presented. |
