The quality and it‘s management is one of the most important social factors in Lithuania and and in the whole world. Patients' opinion of healthcare delivery are an important tool for monitoring and improving the quality and availability of healthcare. During the pandemic, people began to resent due the lack of necessary medical care. The master 's thesis analyzes the opinion of patients about the quality of primary health care services provided by health care institutions subordinated to Vilnius City Municipality during the pandemic. The problem of this master‘s thesis - are the services provided in the health care institutions subordinated to Vilnius City Municipality during the pandemic high quality? The purpose of this labor to evaluate quality of primary health care services provided by health care institutions subordinated to Vilnius City Municipality during the pandemic from the point of view of patients. Also, there was raised the following objectives for this researh : to examine the concept of services and the assumptions for their provision; to analyze the concept of service quality and the essence of it; to examine the concept of quality in primary health care and in health care institutions; to find out the opinion of patients about quality of providing primary health care during the pandemic. In research was used analisis of scientific literature, quantitative research- questionnaire survey and statistic - descriptive statistics. After analyzing the obtained data, can be affirmed that quality of services in the health care institutions subordinated to Vilnius City Municipality during the pandemic deteriorated. The availability of services is not fully guaranteed, doctors does not pay enough attention to patients' opinions about the quality of services provided, the institutions are in the lack of ensuring and implementing well-organized work and technical innovation. Institutions are not ensuring the supply of water for human consumption for the patients and the ensuring the operation of the main sanatorium. There is also a lack of health training on the most common health problems, their identification, prevention and control, and support for proper nutrition and assurance for food supply. The master‘s thesis consist of three parts. The first part of the work analyzes the scientific literature. The second part discusses the research methodology. The third part analyzes the obtained research results. The study concludes with the findings of the study and offers suggestions on how health care institutions should improve the quality of primary health care services. |
