Abstract [eng] |
The art of piano accompaniment in the 21st century is an organic part of the development of music performance and cultural history, representing the ways of human consciousness and creative experience. The abundance of researchers and their works, focusing not merely on the result of music performance but specifically on the process of co-created performance, represents a progressive revision of the partnership between performers. Against the background of the creative searches of the 19th century Western European composers, the ideas declared by rebellious Romanticism, the formed genres of the German Lied, the French mélodie, and the Russian романс, and, later, of the 20th century pianists who popularised specifically the art of accompaniment, we currently analyse and discuss the issues of the performance of a piano accompanist as an equal partner of a chamber ensemble. |
