The study of ship squat in port of Klaipeda is analyzed in this final thesis. There are two parts in this work: theoretical description and calculations. Ship squat effect, when we can see it and why it is necessary to calculate is described in first part. Current situation of Port of Klaipeda and all ship squat calculation methods are also in this part. In second part of this thesis there are all ship squat calculations of selected ship in port of Klaipeda. Empirical calculations and CFD with Flow 3D program are in this part. Conclusions and recommendations are also in this final thesis. |
