The master's thesis assesses the provision of paid personal health care services in a health care institution. The first chapter analyses the specifics of financing and paying for health services in the European Union. The second section presents an analysis of paid personal health care services in Lithuania: the legal acts regulating the provision of paid personal health care services and their prices are analyzed, the peculiarities of payment and the factors that determine the choice of paid personal health care services are analyzed. The third chapter presents an assessment of the provision of paid personal health care services in the selected health care institution: it analyzes the dynamics of paid personal health care services provided in 2018-2022 and presents the results of a qualitative study involving the administrators of the health care institution on the peculiarities of the provision of paid health care services, the challenges that arise in the provision of these services and their development opportunities. |
