The master's final thesis analyzes the topical topic of quality of primary health care. The first part of the work discusses the features, structure and functions of the primary health care sector. The classification of the Lithuanian health system is presented. Aspects of primary, secondary and tertiary health care are distinguished. The following sections of this chapter discuss the quality of health care services in detail and present qualitative characteristics of health. Based on foreign and Lithuanian authors, quality is defined, the quality of healthcare services. According to WHO. The Council of Europe and other authors discuss the dimensions of health care quality: efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, optimality, acceptability and fairness, legitimacy and others. The second part of the paper presents and discusses the quality assessment models of health care services. A subsection of this chapter provides an extensive analysis of models and their characteristics. Also, the following sub- section presents customer satisfaction surveys carried out in the field of health quality both in Lithuania and in foreign countries. After the theoretical analysis, the theoretical model of primary health care service quality assessment created by the author of the paper is presented. The third part presents the empirical research methodology, research strategy, research organization stages, data collection methods. The activities of the Utena Primary Health Care Center are briefly presented. The following subsection presents the results of the study, which are summarized and presented in diagrams.
