| Abstract [eng] |
The event provide a theoretical and practical overview of the experiences and perspectives regarding accessibility of the built environment in Lithuania in recent decades. It brings together professionals from different fields of built environment, representatives of the user groups and the public from Lithuania and abroad to work together in finding ways for further improvement of accessibility. In 1993, the first regulation RSN 154-93 for the accessibility of cities and buildings was adopted in Lithuania. Over three decades of work and improving the legislation, we can see the progress but the need for the best quality in design, construction and use of urban spaces and buildings is even higher, as well as in free access to information, goods and services. |
