The project “Trakai - Lithuanian Capital of Culture” emerges as a significant cultural initiative, showcasing Trakai as an exceptional place not only steeped in history but also rich in cultural heritage. Inspired by the aim to highlight not just the value of Trakai heritage but also to foster international networking and cultural exchange, this project has transformed Trakai. In 2020, it became not only a magnet for tourists worldwide but also a crucial hub for various cultural encounters and dialogues. This project serves as a bridge, connecting diverse cultures, ideas, and people. It's more than just a cultural event or festival—it's a platform fostering international collaborations and creative exchanges. The project promotes cultural diversity by offering people the opportunity to acquaint themselves with different traditions, art forms, and ideas. It holds not only a wealth of cultural events but also the unifying force of communities, encouraging friendship across cultural barriers.
