The aim of the research carried out in the final master's thesis is to create an empirically verified model of the system of motivating tools for improving the knowledge of employees. The analysis of the scientific literature carried out in the theoretical part reveals that the motivation of the organization's employees and their knowledge are closely related and have a direct influence on each other, therefore it is appropriate to implement motivational systems in organizations that motivate employees to improve their knowledge, acquire new skills and pursue a career. Based on the literature analysis carried out in the theoretical part, a theoretical model of the system of motivational measures for improving employees' knowledge was created, which includes the following elements: employee motivation and job satisfaction, manager's behavior and assistance in the process of improving employees' knowledge, motivating measures and the circle of knowledge management. Questionnaire surveys of experts and employees in the banking sector were conducted to verify the theoretical model of the system of motivational measures for improving the knowledge of employees. The results of the study made it possible to establish that the motivation of employees is influenced by the formation of a suitable reward policy in the organization; for the motivation of employees to improve their knowledge, not only the general motivation of employees, job satisfaction and the interested behavior of the manager promoting the improvement of employees, but also the effective management of the organization's knowledge are important.
