A problem of optimization of transportation processes of oversized and heavyweight cargo (OHC) is analyzed in this dissertation. The main object of this work is OHC transportation processes and their interdependencies. Universal multi-criteria evaluation system of route formulated by the author ensures rational choice of heavyweight and oversized cargo routes, mode and means of transportation. The dissertation consists of an introduction, three chapters, general conclusions, a list of literature, and a list of the author‘s publications on the topic of dissertation and 7 annexes. The introduction discusses the research problem and relevance of presented research object, formulates the aim and tasks of the work, and describes methodology of research, scientific novelty and practical significance of the results and defended propositions. In the end of the introduction the author‘s publications and conference reports on the topic of dissertation and the structure of the dissertation are presented. The first chapter reveals a set of problems related to oversized and heavyweight cargo transportation. Also it presents analysis of scientific literature sources, which are used to tackle the issues of OHC transportation. The principles of oversized and heavyweight cargo transportation route selection are formulated in the second chapter. On the basis of mentioned principles criteria system has been created which includes 16 criteria set and enables an objective evaluation of OHC transportation processes comparing different modes of transport, route segments, cargo transportation and cargo handling technology and it can be practically applied to any territory. The third chapter is dedicated to the practical verification of designed multicriteria system for evaluation of oversized and heavyweight cargo transportation processes and efficiency by optimizing possibilities of such kind of cargo transportation in a specific territory. On a basis of the topic of the dissertation 9 scientific articles were published and 7 conference reports have been presented. |
