Master's thesis analyzed the European and Lithuanian higher education quality assurance policy formulation and implementation trends. In the first part of the thesis by theoretical aspect analysed higher education quality and quality assurance policy concept. Examines the concept of quality in higher education and the quality assurance policy formulation development in Europe and Lithuania. Seen, the main quality assurance policy making problems. The second part analyzes the quality assurance of higher education policy implementation process. Introducing the basic quality policy implementers. Examine internal and external quality assurance measures. Seen the main quality assurance policy execution issues. The third section examined the Vilnius University, Vilnius College and Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts quality assurance management culture. Determined the quality assurance policy principles applied to institutional quality assurance systems and assessed the quality of cultural education. The paper ends with conclusions and recommendations for quality assurance in higher education. |
