Relevance of the topic: George Gershwin's work is partly dealt with in foreign literature, but however, publications that systematically analyze the composer's creative heritage, the musical creative style, are not yet available. The flourishing of his work coincided with the birth of the jazz era. ,,Porgy and Bess“ is probably the most famous and most successful American folk opera from the twentieth century created by George Gershwin. The importance of the opera \"Porgy's and Bess\" is related not only to the artistic appreciation of its advantages, but also to the recognition of the rights of the operative genre. The theme of this topic is revelant to singers who are preparing to creat the Clara‘s and Bess‘s roles in G. Gershwin opera ,,Porgy and Bess“. The propose of the research work: uncover the uniqueness of George Gershwin's opera and fully examinate Clara‘s and Bess roles.The problematic issue: musical, vocal and stage features of Clara and Bess in the opera. Tasks: to discuss the innovativeness and style features of Gershwin's opera ,,Porgy and Bess”, examine the dramaturgy of the opera and characters, analyze Clara's and Bess's roles in musical, vocal and scenic terms, to clarify the problems of preparing Clara and Bess roles, discuss the most significant interpretations of this roles. Reserch methods: descriptive and comparative analysis method, analysis of literature, video and audio analyse, scientific, methodological literature, article studies, clavier and libretto exsamination. The main literature: E.Lathamo, H.Alperto, V. Konen. The first part of this work discuess G.Gershwin opera ,, Porgy and Bess” creative idea and innovation, why this opera is important for American music culture. Also discuess opera's dramaturgical principles and characters. The work is based on descriptive and comparative analysis method, analysis of literature, scientific, methodological literature, article studies. The second part of the work is concentrated on the analysis of the Clara’s and Bess characters in G. Gershwin opera ,,Porgy and Bess”. A thorough analyses musical and stage qualities, what kind of vocal preparation or technical abilities are needed to perform these roles. This part of the work also contains tips helping to creat these roles. The second section analyses Clara’s and Bess role interpretations performaned in concert and theater stage. The work is based on video and audio analyse, clavier and libretto exsamination. |
