Abstract [eng] |
In Lithuanian Agricultural Institute since 1997 there are investigated special grasslands, biomass of which is used for bioenergy production. The presented literary data analysis proves the advantages of grasses in comparison with annual plants. Special grasslands for biofuel, under favorable conditions of agro-climate, are capable to grow from 6 to 15 t ha-1 DM of biomass, which is suitable for fuel. The variations of biomass yield are determined by meteorological conditions, especially moisture and consist of grassland. When there is substantial lack of moisture, as it was in 2002 and 2003, there grows significantly less biomass, approximately the half of mentioned amount. The substantiation of technologies for grass growing, handling and harvesting the biomass was completed; the technique for suggested technologies was selected. Technologies were evaluated in energetic approach, the energetic cost of separate technological operations of plant growing and harvesting was established. It was determined, that the lowest cost is of growing harvesting the penile and leguminous grass mix. It is 1.5 times less the one of pure penile, 1.7 times less then one of topinambour stems, and 1.4 times less then energetic consumptions used for fuel preparation from sunflower stems. |
