In master’s thesis, after an introduction of theoretical aspects of cyber security application, analysis of cyber security methods and measures for management of banking operational risks throughout the world and in Lithuania, and after a qualitative study, a concept of cyber security and results of the study were presented. Primarily, the first part of thesis reviews theoretical aspects of cyber security, namely, a concept of cyber security and its development tendencies, analysis of cyber security methods and measures, problematicity and solutions of cyber security methods and measures. Further, the second part examines the global analysis of application of cyber security methods and measures: cases of the United States of America, China and the Baltic States (Estonia and Lithuania), regarding cyber security methods and measures for management of banking operational risks. The third part of thesis analyses a study carried out, whose aim is to find out, by using the expert knowledge, the main issues of cyber security in management of banking operational risks, arising when implementing cyber security measures, as well as to accentuate the major examples of cyber security methods and measures. A collective cyber security model is created in the fourth chapter: compatibility between collective cyber security measures, methods and ways of solution. |
