The master 's degree thesis analyzes the value chain of the selected production company, the shortcomings that arise in it and suggests options for improving this production value chain. The analysis of the revealed problem was based on the interviews of the personnel manager and of the interview of production operators are shown the results of the expert survey and the method of value chain stream mapping. The first chapter deals with the theoretical aspects of the simple value chain, its main and auxiliary activities, the division of five dimensions, and presents the structure of the value chain stream formation map. Improvements in risk management in the value chain were also analyzed. The second chapter analyzes the tendencies of paper industry products in Lithuania and substantiates the methods used to study the problem. In the third chapter, the results obtained from the analysis of the expert’s survey are systematized, the stream map of the company is drawn, the main gaps in the map and the possibilities of solving these gaps are identified. Conclusions and recommendations are also shown in this written work. |
