Abstract [eng] The chamber ensemble “Musica Humana” is one of the first ensembles in Lithuania to come together to join the revival of the interpretation of early music in Europe. The ensemble was formed in 1974. The first four members of this ensemble, Algirdas Vizgirda, Juozas Rimas, Jurgis Banevicius and Julius Andrejevas, persistently sought their creative face and style. The aim of the musicians was to delve into the interpretation of baroque music, the subtleties of performance. From the very beginning, the ensemble has developed creatively, focusing on the interpretation of baroque music, gradually expanding its repertoire to include other works by composers of the era, as well as giving an important place to our contemporary music. Over the years of its existence, the ensemble has organized more than hundred programs, implemented a wealth of new ideas. This is a huge merit in Lithuanian, as they organized concerts not only in Lithuania, but also abroad, thus glorifying the name of our country. Its activities increasingly attracted the attention not only of the audience, but also of Lithuanian composers and, most importantly, encouraged their creative search. Cooperation with A. Martinaitis, B. Kutavičius, M. Urbaitis, O. Balakauskas and others was of great importance for this ensemble.
